Medium Number Link
Medium Number Link puzzles are 6×6. A path can never close a loop, and a cell only belongs to a pair whose path can reach it from both numbers.
Medium puzzles need at least one of these techniques, and may use any easier one:
- No loops
- This join would close a loop, which no path can do.
- Out of reach
- Only cells a path can reach from both of its numbers can belong to it.
How to play
Number Link is a path puzzle. Draw a path between each pair of equal numbers, moving horizontally and vertically from cell to cell. Paths may not cross or share a cell, and together they must fill every cell of the grid.
Every Number Link here has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone. The grid grows from 5×5 at Easy to 9×9 at Expert, and the level is set by the hardest technique the puzzle needs.
- Connect each pair of equal numbers with one path.
- Paths move horizontally or vertically and never cross or branch.
- Every cell is part of exactly one path.
Playing on this site
- Drag from a number to draw its path; drag from a drawn cell to carry on from there.
- Drag back along a path to take part of it back; drawing through another path cuts it.
- Hint points out cells on the wrong path first, then names the next technique and draws the join it decides.
- Your puzzle is saved in this browser, so you can come back to it later.
